History
Bank of Bartlett became incorporated in the City of Bartlett by local investors and opened for business in 1980. Much of our early success is attributed to involvement in area churches, schools, and charitable organizations. From humble beginnings, our bank grew rapidly to become one of the largest community banks in the Memphis market and among the top 30 banks in Tennessee.
Bartlett Mortgage, a subsidiary opened in 1983, has made home dreams come true by financing tens of thousands of homes in greater Memphis. We consistently rank in the top mortgage companies yearly in home loans originated.
Quality, friendly, and responsive customer service makes our customers feel at home. That, along with the way we help our customers ignite their goals, has been the key driving force for our growth and expansion to seven strategic locations within the Memphis metropolitan area. To maintain and improve that service level, a growing distribution network for Bank of Bartlett customers has been developed with more 55,000 surcharge free Allpoint ATMs worldwide. Bank of Bartlett branches serve the public from 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am to 6 pm Friday. Video Bankers/ITMs at all branch locations serve you through expanded hours 8 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday and 9 am - 1 pm Saturdays.
Bank of Bartlett offers full banking services, access to account information through FastCheck (our voice-activated telephonic banking system), transaction opportunities 24 hours daily through the extensive ATM network and online banking, and live connection to a drive up Video Banker. Commercial and consumer banking, and mortgage services are all conveniently available.
Our motto is “ignite your life goals” and we do not take that charge lightly. Our team works purposefully every day to help our customers put fuel to whatever they want to achieve in their lives.
The City of Bartlett, founded in 1865, is a historic city. Once a mainly rural and quiet town, the City of Bartlett has grown to be the 10th largest city in the State of Tennessee with over 50,000 citizens in population. Bank of Bartlett branches are also located in the cities of Germantown, Collierville, Lakeland, Arlington, and Memphis.

Message from the Chairman
Since a group of local friends, fellow church members, and investors opened the Bank of Bartlett in 1980, and Bartlett Mortgage, Inc. in 1983, we have been focused upon being a good corporate citizen.
Bank of Bartlett has directly supported the University of Memphis, LeMoyne-Owen College, Shelby County Schools, the Memphis City Schools, and other key educational institutions. In addition, we have directly supported Youth Villages, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, and a wide array of other charitable and civic causes.
Bank of Bartlett has encouraged its executive corps and employees to give their time, energy and treasure to support these causes. We have sought to "do well" by "doing good." In return, we have gained respect and loyalty from a variety of great causes, institutions, and fellow citizens... and an opportunity to serve their financial needs.
As we have served those needs, we have grown to become the 6th largest bank in the Memphis market, and the 17th largest bank in Tennessee as well as the 5th largest mortgage company. All these services are available through our branch distribution network of seven locations, and our exceptional digital banking products.
Add all that to our commitment to providing warm and receptive customer service with convenient hours (including Saturdays), and one can understand not only why we're excited about how far we've come, but also why we are really excited about where we're going.
We've financed over 25,000 homes, over 100 churches, and countless numbers of business startups and expansions. We've been the bank of choice for over 13,000 family accounts, and that number continues to grow.
Growing stronger, better, and in tune with the needs of our customers. That's why we're here, and we look forward to working with you.
